elementary school students visit the schoolhouse: may 2, 2025

A New Chapter for the Schoolhouse

On May 2, 2025, some 47 eager fourth-graders from Page-Hilltop School  enjoyed a field trip to Sandy Pond School. This special event marked the culmination of one of Sandy Pond School Association's long-term goals, to bring elementary school students to the school and help them understand the differences between their school experience and that of students who attended a single-room schoolhouse. Our goal is to make this an annual event for local elementary school students.
