How You Can Help

The Mission

Our challenge today is to preserve Sandy Pond School for future generations, as our predecessors did for us.

The Need

And to do that costs money. These expenses are of two types:

  • Capital expenses for restoration and repair work on the building proper
  • Operational expenses for things such as insurance, utilities, routine maintenance, marketing, and event-related activities.

While most capital expenses can be funded via grants, there are few if any grants available to fund operational expenses. These expenses, which are required simply to maintain the status quo, come to several thousand dollars a year. As a small non-profit with limited resources, SPSA depends on donations to cover these expenses and to help us continue to move forward on the preservation and restoration of Sandy Pond School.

With your help, SPSA will be able to ensure continued preservation of this unique cultural and historical resource for future generations.

Please do consider donating to this worthy cause.
